I haven't felt like this since Newsom decided to say "fuck you" to California voters and allow gay marriage. For those 4 days or so, I felt like the world was happening the way it was supposed to happen, the way that it could happen. I felt so optimistic. The world needs more big gestures like that. People doing what they think...no, know what is right despite all the reasonable reasons not to do so.
Fuck reason.
Life sucks.

On another note, oh photography god, is it possible to get a high-resolution, at least 5x7, 200 dpi photograph with a regular digital camera? Or does it take something special?
The ones that we took before won't work, and there'a a woman from the Metro that will do an advance piece on us if we can get her a higher quality photo by tonight. And tonight is non-negotiable. I'll have to do it at rehearsal. I am at the point where I'm ready to just go buy a damned digital camera myself, but I don't know if there's anything special that I need...

How big are the ones you took before? I may be able to resize them into something usable.
Most any digital camera that is 2 megapixel or higher can give you a 5x7 at ~200 DPI.
Or, I can come down tonight if you want.
